I need to get back into the habit of writing these little adventures. But like before I have follen back into a rut of living here. Get up, go to work, go to the DiFac (Dinning Facility) find something to do after dinner and then go back to bed.
I know a lot of people have offered to send things to me for xmas but I am doing really well. Between Kes and Laura I am well supplied for the winter here.
Turns out the van halen concert was a hoax, just another example of KAF’s rumor information system at work. But I won’t gripe too much about that. I have 80 Days left in my contract. And I have officially said “no I’m not staying after that”.
One of the Lines men came up with a brilliant plan. He asked if one of the Stone merchants if they would cut a stone block into thin slabs and polish one side to make marble tiles. The merchant said sure 1$ a tile 1 foot square. We are all curious if this will actually work or just work. If it does he will have a marble floor Kitchen at a 2$ a square foot after he ships them back. It just seems too good to be true situations.
Been back at the Shutter Bug, took some good pictures of the camel herds that wonder by the camp every so often. There is a move to tighten up the rules on the camp. The reason we are told is trying to deal with the additional Americans moving in.
Any way that’s my Life in a Nutshell.
