We did get to have a turkey dinner on the customary paper plate and plastic utensils. It was surprisingly good, turns out they brought out one of the Canadian cooks from the FOBs to cook for us. It had all the fixings like cranberry sauce.
Did turn out I spent a good chunk of the day sitting around and taking pictures of aircraft going by. The big show was some US warthogs doing fly-bys and dropping flairs, kind of air force fireworks display. Warthogs are know to be one of the uglier air plans on the ground but in the air they are graceful like none of the other aircraft here.
Any way here are a bunch of pictures from today including a bunch of KAF Santas.
